| Different pipes and cables seemed to amalgamate at one point in the left lane, and curiosity made us investigate. What we discovered was a grating, which once lifted up revealed... a hatch! We succeeded in opening it, and it revealed a very passing corridor in a nearby building. Fortunately it was empty at this time of the day and we were (eventually) able to close the hatch and lock it. This hatch opened in a way we weren't expecting which resulted in it swinging open on its own and making a loud bang. We're really lucky there was no one in the hallway below. Not that they could've gotten to us without a ladder, I suppose. We could've just waved hi and probably would've gotten out in time. --Mokonax |
